I was trying to see if I could acquire the domain name Quivira.com for Quivira Media or something of the sort. Thinking that I could get away with a deal, I sent an email to the webmaster offering $40 (lol) for the domain plus some other bonus stuff.
And he said that I would need to pay $150,000 minimum to buy it.
Here is the actual message:
Steve,
$150,000 min. to buy.
Thanks
John Wilson

Not much of a webmaster with a Yahoo address, but this guy knows how to strike a frickin’ expensive deal. And I know that domains do cost that much, but I really don’t have any money to spend over $200…
